Navigation Pack

We charge a fee for the navigation pack to ensure the route stays up-to-date as roads and trails evolve each year. It also helps cover the cost of providing advanced Ride With GPS navigation features for free. Most importantly, your contribution supports sustainable cycling tourism.

Some may try to avoid paying, but every purchase directly supports community-based tourism. Keeping Trans Dinarica up to date helps visitors make more informed choices and promotes safe cycling activity, which allows travelers to experience the region’s authentic culture and warm hospitality.

Price List for Trans Dinarica Navigation Packs:

Price per country depends on the number of stages and lenght within it.

By purchasing the FULL navigation package, users gain access to advanced mobile navigation using the free Ride with GPS App. Each FULL nav pack (RWGPS Experience) includes a wealth of useful information available offline once downloaded, including the enhanced RWGPS Cycle map layer (with our own manual corrections of OSM map layer based on data captured in the field while tracing the route).

The FULL Navigation Pack (RWGPS Experience) for every country includes:

• RWGPS mobile App with all navigation features unlocked and free, with active turn-by-turn navigation (voice or visual). The use of the App is simple, with plenty of settings, display options and help along the way.
• Accurate GPS tracks with detailed information regarding route surface, based on data captured in the field for literally every meter of every stage (paved, unpaved), as well as regarding elevation – climbs and descends, including graphical vertical profiles.
• Day-to-day itinerary with descriptions of individual stages, including interesting sites along the way, cycling difficulty, accommodation details… This information is organized separately for the Main, Secondary, and Connector routes where applicable.
• Numerous Points of Interest (POIs) with external links, such as: warnings about important route characteristics, accommodations and camping, restaurants, bars, rest stops, water resources, convenience stores and shops, bicycle workshops, transit centers (ferry, train, bus), natural and cultural heritage, viewpoints.
• Online up-to-date weather information for each stage starting point.
• Logistics and other useful information, such as sustainability tips.
• Free updates via the Ride With GPS app in case of route changes.

Keep in mind that even after purchasing and downloading the FULL navigation package, you can use the tracks with other mobile apps or GPS devices (e.g., Garmin, Wahoo) by manually exporting GPX files from the RWGPS app (read more in here in FAQ).

By purchasing the BASIC navigation package, users gain access to enriched Trans Dinarica GPX files compatible with their preferred mobile navigation app or standalone GPS device (e.g., Garmin, Wahoo). For the best mobile experience, we recommend using the RWGPS Mobile App – the official Trans Dinarica tool, used also for navigation data creation.

• Accurate GPS tracks in the form of GPX files.
• Numerous Points of Interest (POIs) from various categories, displayed as general waypoints.

Purchase, use and duration of navigation package:

The purchased navigation package is valid until December 31, 2025. After this date, a new, updated version will be published and offered to existing subscribers at a reduced price. Additionally, the previous version will remain available for anyone who wishes to continue using it.
